The Indian equity markets broke a seven-day losing streak, closing higher on November 19, with the Nifty ending at 23,500 amid buying in auto, realty, and media sectors.
Despite mixed global cues, markets opened positively and extended gains during the day but erased most intraday advances in the final hour following reports of Ukraine’s ATACMS strike inside Russia.
