Green Tech is an umbrella term that can be used for all forms of sustainable technologies that refer to technological advancements without having an adverse impact on nature, the planet, or the surrounding habitat. This type of technology is also referred to as clean energy with solar power, hydro power and wind power being prime examples of this type of energy and its increasing use.
The increased awareness among the general public and corporates alike has led to increased demand for green tech and has also enabled policy changes at macro and microeconomic levels. The increase in the infrastructure and demand for electric vehicles and the government backing for the same is a prime example of how green tech is fast becoming part of everyday life. The focus of green tech is to conserve the available limited natural resources on the planet and protect the ecosystems from further damage through mankind.
