What is Saransh? How do parents use Saransh?

Saransh is an Indian web portal created by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to promote school information and communication technology. Smriti Irani, the Minister of Human Resource Development, launched the portal on November 7, 2015. Saransh is a self-assessment tool for CBSE schools and parents. It acts as a conduit for improving communication between schools and parents. It provides a data-driven decision support system to help parents assess their children’s strengths and weaknesses, permitting them to take informed decisions on their children’s future.

Characteristics

It is accessible for grades IX and X, Problem-Solving Abilities (PSA) in grades IX and XI, and Board Exam Achievements in Class XII. It depicts a thorough image of Class X from 2007 to the most recent academic session and Class XII from 2009 to the most recent academic session.

Saransh for Parents: How to Use It?

Saransh is offered to parents of CBSE affiliated school kids in grades IX, X, XI, or XII. Saransh allows parents to register their children by supplying their registration/roll number. User names and passwords will be sent via OTP and email to the registered mobile phone.

For use in schools

All CBSE affiliated schools can use Saransh. Saransh allows the school principal to register by submitting the school’s school code and CBSE affiliation number. Username and password will be sent via OTP and email to the registered mobile number.
