Shark Tank India Season 2 is displaying a major shift in India's entrepreneurial mindset through the business ideas being presented on the show. The season 2 of Shark Tank India saw sharks invest Rs 17.58 cr in 2 weeks.
As per a tweet by Shark Tank India, the Sharks or judges have invested a total of Rs 17.58 cr in the first two weeks of the show.
Here's how much the Shark Tank India judges have invested so far-
1. Namita Thapar of Emcure Pharmaceuticals invested the most with Rs. 5.03 cr.
2. Aman Gupta of boAt comes 2nd with Rs 3.55 cr of investment.
Peyush Bansal of Lenskart.com has invested Rs 3.13 cr.
Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics invested Rs 2.95 cr
Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com invested Rs. 2.92 cr.
What's ironical is that apart from Aman Gupta's BoAt, the businesses of all Shark Tank India judges are apparently drowning in losses!
Ankit Uttam, a Linkedin user recently revealed that unlike the US version of Shark Tank where the judges own profitable businesses, the Indian variant has judges riding VC money and drowning into huge losses.
