Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan or KVS has launched a “Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat” campaign. Well over 12 lakh kids learning in Kendriya Vidyalaya or KV schools receive a physical nutrition and fitness profile card as part of this initiative. Prakash Javdekar, the Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD), established this initiative in 2017.

The Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat programme encourages pupils to eat a balanced diet, practice yoga, and maintain a routine. Therefore, physical fitness must be incorporated into schools to ensure students receive a high-quality education by adopting the Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat initiative in KV schools.

Children of all ages and abilities will get a thorough and inclusive report card in the Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat initiative. The program’s goal is to improve awareness among kids, teachers, and parents about the significance of excellent health and fitness and encourage 60 minutes of play each day, according to a statement from the HRD Ministry.

The Swasth Bachche, Swasth Bharat programme also instils Olympic and Paralympic ideals in schools. Bring childhood back to youngsters by including physical exercise and leisure games into the learning process. In addition, the programmes aim to motivate future great achievers in different games and sports of distinction, use technology for data collecting and analytics, and provide access to schools, parents, and instructors.

Providing all students with a high-quality education:

The Modi government, according to Javadekar, aims to boost the country’s education system by empowering general education. However, the government also needs to ensure that everyone gets a good education. Kerala’s Kendriya Vidyalayas are higher than Kendriya Vidyalayas in other states. In addition, the minister believes that a system that involves children as a part of family responsibilities is necessary.
