NASDAQ ETF

An ETF which invests in the NASDAQ top 100 companies is known as NASDAQ ETF. NASDAQ is the acronym for ‘National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations’, which is a major stock exchange headquartered in New York, USA. The NASDAQ 100 Index, which a NASDAQ ETF typically mimics, consists of the top 100 of the largest non-finance companies by market capitalisation, listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. This index is large-cap tech heavy and is seen as a proxy to the technology industry’s performance. It offers a good combination of growth and large-cap exposure with high liquidity.
Investors in India get exposure to NASDAQ stocks by investing in the Indian NASDAQ fund of funds (FoFs) or ETFs.
