A kiosk is a small automated machine with a digital display. It is used for marketing or carrying out basic transactions (for example, getting boarding passes at airports). Kiosks do not require huge spaces to set up and can be operated with ease due to them being quite user-friendly.

Companies set up their kiosks in strategic places that attract huge crowds to increase awareness regarding the company or its products and to make a certain process easy for consumers. This form of marketing is also cost-effective for companies as they have to pay less rent for such kiosks as compared to bigger setups like showrooms.
