Inflection Point

Inflection Point refers to the point or an event that changes the growth and performance trajectory of a business. The impact of such an inflection point can be positive or negative for the business depending on the nature of the event.

In mathematical terms, the inflection point when charted on a graph is the point of deflection or the change in the direction of the curve on account of the significant event. The inflection point is therefore the representation of a decisive and visible change which is directly corresponding to an event.

This analysis is applicable to various streams like financial analysis of the business, the performance of the GDP of a country, etc.
