Bhamashah Yojana

Rajasthan Bhamashah Card Scheme was started in August 2014. This scheme was created keeping in mind the empowerment of women. The foundation of this scheme was laid to improve women’s status in society and provide them economic and social security. Under this scheme, Bhamashah accounts will be opened in the name of women of all the state families. They will be able to use the Bhamashah Card to take advantage of various schemes brought by the state government. Under the Rajasthan Bhamashah Card Scheme, it will be necessary that the woman of the family, who is 21 years of age or above, be made the head of the household.

The objective of Bhamashah Yojana

The objective of the Rajasthan Bhamashah Card scheme is to make women financially and socially self-reliant. So that their overall development can take place and they can become empowered. Under this scheme, Bhamashah cards will be made in the name of women only, for which they must have their bank account. In such a situation, they will be able to benefit from all government schemes directly. Cash or non-cash benefits will also be available in the name of women only because these benefits cannot be availed without a Bhamashah card. And these cards will be made in the name of women only. Therefore, these schemes are mainly in the interest of women.

Criteria of the Bhamashah Yojana

This scheme has started keeping in mind the women, so to get the Bhamashah card, the head of the family must be a woman. Enrollment of women will be done in the Bhamashah card scheme. The woman must have a central bank account in her name, linked to her Aadhaar. The same bank account will also be connected to the Bhamashah card. If a woman wants, she can open this bank account alone or as a joint account with other family members. In this account, the cash benefits of all the schemes run by the state government will be sent directly to this bank account. In this scheme, the woman’s age can be 21 years or more to become the head. For information, let us tell you that Bhamashah cards can also be used to withdraw money when needed. -Under this scheme, more than 35 thousand Bhamashah card centers have been opened for the convenience of the state’s citizens.

After creating the Bhamashah Card, the cash benefits of all the facilities run by the government will be directly transferred to the account. Apart from this, all non-cash benefits will also be available quickly.

Bhamashah Card Yojana eligibility

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Rajasthan.
  • Under this scheme, all those state families can apply in whose house a woman has been made as to the head.
  • There should be a bank account in the name of the head. Also, the bank account should be linked with Aadhaar.
  • All the disabled people of the state will also be eligible under this scheme.

Camps in rural and urban areas are organized by the state government, where the applicant has to visit for applying in the scheme.

Online Process
