On the 13th of November 2018, the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) inaugurated online ARPIT, a large and unique online professional development programme for 15 lakhs higher education professors, using the MOOCs platform SWAYAM. In the first instance, NTA administered ARPIT Tests in 66 disciplines on the 30th of March, 2019. MHRD has designated 48 discipline-specific National Resource Centres (NRCs), where Course Coordinators have created online training material, focusing on the most recent advances in the discipline. ARPIT will be a continual exercise, with NRCs developing new refresher modules in their designated subject each year, and the training content, being uploaded and made available through SWAYAM. This initiative aims to make the best teaching and learning tools available to everyone, especially the most undermined candidates. Study Web and Active Learning by Young and Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM); ‘Young’ and ‘Aspiring Minds’ create active study groups for real-time learning and enhance employability. The UGC has declared ARPIT equivalent to a refresher course for faculty advancement.
The Government of India established the National Testing Agency (NTA); as a leading, autonomous, and self-sufficient testing body to administer entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher education institutions.
In terms of meeting research-based worldwide standards, efficiency, transparency, and error-free delivery, assessing the competency of candidates for admissions and recruiting has always been difficult. The NTA is entrusted, with addressing all of these difficulties by employing the best practices, in every discipline, including exam preparation, delivery, and marking.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the ARPIT exam every year. There has been no new information about NTA ARPIT 2022 as yet. The board posts all official notices on its official website, arpit.nta.nic.in. The Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT) Exam is open to faculty and non-faculty candidates.
It is a one-of-a-kind project that aids the professional growth of India’s higher education staff. Candidates can learn about the ARPIT 2022 important dates, how to apply, and important preparation advice, among other things. Candidates must complete the ARPIT application form in an online format. The Candidates can visit the ARPIT official website to receive all the latest information about ARPIT 2022. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must hold a legal degree, i.e., a degree in Law. Application costs are also applicable to online applications submitted through the ARPIT website. Because there is no age limit, applicants can take the exam as many times as possible.
To be eligible for the exam, candidates must meet these requirements. The following are the eligibility requirements:
1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens; to take the exam. The exam is for both:
either faculty or non-academic members.
2. Educational Background: The Indian government recognizes law graduate degrees.
3. The total number of attempts is: Candidates are allowed to take the exam; as many times as possible.
The ARPIT exam is a national eligibility test administered once a year. Candidates, who are interested, and meet the eligibility requirements, can apply for the Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT) at this examination. ARPIT 2022 will be administered in two 3-hour periods as a CBT (Computer Based Test). Faculty Learners must present supporting paperwork, such as; identification, an appointment letter, a salary slip, and other documents. The exam is also open to non-faculty students.
The official website for ARPIT is arpit.nta.nic.in. The ARPIT exam is a computer-based test, with 100 questions, on the exam. The paper will take 3 hours to complete. A correct answer earns a candidate one point. In the ARPIT exam, there is a 1/3 penalty for each incorrect answer. ARPIT registration will begin in February, and interested people will have until the 15th of March 2022 to apply. After that, only the official website can be used to fill out the form. The ARPIT Exam will be held in 140 locations across India. Candidates, who have completed the application form, and paid the costs, will be issued an ARPIT Admit Card. It can be downloaded using the login credentials from the official website once it is released. However, the NTA has yet to announce the date of the issue.
Exam centre name and address, exam date and time, candidate name, gender, candidate photo and signature, and exam day instructions will all be included on the ARPIT hall ticket. Candidates must bring a valid government-issued ID, two copies of their coloured passport-size photo, and, if necessary, a caste certificate; to appear for the exam. The qualifying marks in the exam have been set at 50% by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who achieve a minimum score of 50% on the ARPIT 2022 exam are awarded certificates.
SWAYAM will offer a certificate, to candidates, based on their ARPIT results, which NTA will announce. Faculty, and non-faculty certifications, are two different types of certificates. The NTA has established a minimum qualifying score of 50%. Candidates can see their scorecards by entering their login credentials on the official website once the results are released. The answer key for ARPIT is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) a few days after the exam is completed. The answer key will be available at arpit.nta.nic.in, the official website. The official body’s answer key contains just the answers that are approved, for the purpose, of evaluating the results.
NTA will administer the ARPIT 2022 exam, in the first week, of April 2022. The timetable will be released soon. Candidates, who pass the ARPIT, receive credentials equal to a UGC refresher course. Registration for ARPIT 2022 closes on the 15th of March, 2022. There is no provision for late fee payment while enrolling. Candidates can register for multiple courses simultaneously, as long as the exam slot times are distinct. The ARPIT Exam does not allow for negative marking. Each correct answer is worth one point. For Grade A, candidates must get at least 80%. Candidates who score less than 50% on the exam are ruled ineligible.
